| | | Things are looking doubtful as far as getting an assistantship for grad school and if I don't get one I may not be able to go. I'm trying not to panic and get distressed about it before I really know anything for sure, but it's hard not to. One of the other students told me that he thought decisions had already been made, but that I might try to phone up the department and do some begging.
I'm not good at begging.
Still, I have to try. So tomorrow I will give the department a call and see what I can find out. I'm trying to relax tonight and distract myself with other things, since there isn't anything I can do about it at the moment.
