I Closed my eyes,
waiting for the new born dawn.
Never wanting this feeling to be gone…
For she's the other half
that I've forever longed.

I roll aside and stroke her gentle face.

Thoughts of last night of me
and me with you

Awakened something new

The sands of time will
pass by this mortal man.

I bathe and clothe,

It’s the last love that we will make.
And knowing when she wakes what we must face.
