| | | I was on my way home this morning, and this lady in the middle of the street flags me down. Now, I don't live in like, the center of a city, I live in a little neighborhood where almost everyone knows everyone, and I'd never seen this lady before.
She flags me down and starts telling me that her daughter's in Foster Care in Langley and the Social worker was going to be bringing her home provided she has food in the fridge, to which she lied and said she did, but she doesn't have any money and needs a ride to SafeWay and wants me to just buy her three things: Eggs, Milk and Sausage. She asked everything, including putting it on my card.
I didn't have any money so I drove home around the corner and I can't get her crying out of my head. She had a picture and everything. So I get a half dozen eggs out of my fridge and few cans of fruit and go back there.
She's at some other car crying and telling her tale and she sees I've come back. I tell her I have some food for her and she flips. "I don't eat those things! I need to go to Safeway! Don't you have any money? Put in on a card?!"
Now, I felt bad before, but now I feel angry. I brought you FOOD! An item she specifically requested! ALKJDFJAL:FKJDLFJDSF Stupid scammer. I was trying to help.
