| I never know what to say in these things....
I'm planning on moving to Ottawa this summer, and thought this would be a good way to meet some people. I am a very open minded person. I love learning about other cultures, and would love to travel. So far I've only been to parts of Canada and the US. I'm a very motivated person. Once I get something in my mind there's no stopping me until I get it. I love sports, but I'd rather be playing them than watching. I have a huge passion for wheelchair racing and am saving for a racing chair. I also like skiing, playing bassketball, curling and the list goes on.... I love camping and being outside and just getting away from everything for awhile, but I also love living in a city. I like dressing up and wearing makeup sometimes, but I'm pretty happy dressing casually and using nothing but some lip gloss! I don't let things get me down. I guess my motto is "if it's broken, fix it and then move on".
Now that you've read this far and got some idea of what I'm like I will let you know two more things about me. I've been blind since birth, and I've been in a wheelchair since Oct. 04. (I have a guide dog so I am totally independent). I don't let this slow me down at all, and only mentioned it here because I thought I'd be fair and let you know in case you were interested. If you can't see past this then that's fine, it's your choice, but I'm hoping the right guy for me can look past this and see the real me.

WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR IN A PARTNER? |
| My ideal guy would have to be open to new ideas, and like spending time outside. (I like cuddling on the couch and watching a good movie just as much as the next person, but I don't like doing it every day). He has to like dogs, and he should be able to laugh at his own mistakes. I think that's very important. He has to be caring and sincere, there's nothing I dislike more than a person trying to be someone they are not. |
