| | | one day the bodhisattva ninja spied a goddess basking in the sun.
as the sun rose, the goddess glowed goldenly.
"have mercy on me!" he whispered.
then the sun set.
in the darkness the ninja sat still.
he saw nothing.
then he heard laughter, felt the caress of a hand, and only wind when he tried to hold on.
in the morning a small lady sat before him in deep meditation.
"nirvana in the flesh", she answered to his question about her name.
